That’s right you read the title correctly. This is a 2001 C5 Corvette Z06 Convertible with only 21,000 miles. It began life as a normal Z06 hard top coupe when it was modified and transformed into a convertible. You can’t tell that it didn’t come from the factory that way.

This car is running a Magnusson supercharger and putting down more than 500hp at the wheels. It also has a very nice set of Borla short tube headers as well as a Borla cat back exhaust. It sounds incredible when the supercharger winds up and the exhaust starts to roar. Click here for a sound byte. It also has a beautiful carbon fiber Motor City Molds reverse cowl induction hood.

It is extremely fun to drive and you wont find much on the road that you couldn’t blow the doors off of. The power seems endless when you get on it but it is also tame if you want to take it out for a Sunday drive.

This car does have a Utah salvage title. It was hit in the side just badly enough to put a dent in the frame and damage the door. The frame was repaired to perfection by a local body shop and anything else that was even slightly affected was replaced. The frame repair was so good that if you could pull the rocker panel off you honestly would not be able to find it. Click here for a picture.
